B2B quick commerce startup Zorit, formerly Bijnis, has raised nearly ₹27 crore (about $2.84 million) in a round led by Sparrow Capital, according to Entrackr’s reporting on 29 October 2026. Existing investors Info Edge and WaterBridge Ventures joined, alongside Better Capital, angels and employees, in a round that adds fresh fuel to startup funding in India’s B2B commerce lane.
A rebrand and a quick-commerce pivot
Zorit runs 12 dark stores across 12 cities and says it has reached ₹120 crore in annualised sales. The rebrand from Bijnis to Zorit marks its shift to B2B quick commerce — supplying small retailers and businesses on fast timelines rather than operating as a traditional marketplace. On a fully converted and diluted basis, Info Edge’s stake will rise to 20.12% after the round, a sign of continued conviction from one of India’s most closely watched strategic investors in B2B commerce.
Why this round matters
Quick commerce has so far been a consumer story dominated by large, well-funded players. Zorit’s bet is that the same speed and dark-store economics work for business buyers, who order repeatedly and in larger baskets. The participation of existing backers alongside a new lead suggests the pivot is showing enough traction to merit a top-up rather than a rescue round.
Why it matters for founders
For founders, Zorit is a case study in repositioning: a new name, a narrower customer (business buyers, not everyone) and a measurable sales milestone — ₹120 crore annualised — gave existing investors a reason to double down.
