Delhi NCR-based lab-grown diamond jewellery brand Zinara has raised Rs 3.61 crore ($380K) in a pre-seed funding round led by Inflection Point Ventures (IPV), one of India's most active early-stage investors. The round also saw participation from Nine Jewellery, Bollywood actress Nikita Dutta, and several angel investors, giving the young brand both capital and cultural cachet.

Founded by Harshit Abrol and Sumanyu Vyas, Zinara specialises in everyday diamond jewellery crafted using lab-grown diamonds and 18K gold vermeil. The founders bring experience from leading consumer and technology companies — Abrol previously worked with P&G and Apnaklub, while Vyas has held roles at Blinkit and Classplus. The brand currently offers a catalogue of over 400 designs and claims to have surpassed Rs 1 crore in annual recurring revenue (ARR), a promising signal for a pre-seed-stage D2C label.

The newly raised capital will be used to strengthen the company's team, accelerate marketing efforts, and enhance its supply chain infrastructure. Zinara also plans to expand its product portfolio and increase its brand presence across India. Running a digital-first business model, it serves customers across the country and offers lifetime warranty, buyback, and exchange options on its jewellery products.

The funding comes at a time when demand for sustainable and affordable luxury jewellery is witnessing growth in India, creating new opportunities for brands operating in the lab-grown diamond segment. With diamond prices under pressure and conscious consumption rising, Zinara is betting that modern buyers will choose science over mines.

Why it matters for founders

Zinara shows how a small pre-seed can move fast when the wedge is sharp: a Rs 1 Cr+ ARR before raising, founders with operator pedigree, and a story that converts (sustainable luxury at everyday prices). In a crowded D2C jewellery space, its IPV-led raise proves investors still reward early traction over big promises.
