AI-native wealth management platform Vouch has raised $500,000 in pre-seed funding from Y Combinator, according to reports published on 28 October 2026, with a funding date of 27 October 2026. The startup aims to make personalised financial guidance accessible to Indian families.

One platform for all of a family's money

Founded by Arnav Ghatiwala, a former product lead at Jane Street and Robinhood, Vouch connects to users' existing investment portfolios, learns their financial goals and helps optimise investments, combining AI-driven portfolio insights with human experts involved in key decisions. The company wants to become the single platform Indians use to manage all their money.

Vouch plans to launch its app in November 2026, subject to regulatory licensing — a step Dealroom notes is still outstanding. The capital will support development and the upcoming launch of its AI-native wealth management application.

The market context is large: Dealroom cites Association of Mutual Funds in India figures showing monthly systematic investment plan inflows of nearly $4.35 billion and mutual fund assets under management of $1.16 trillion, up 2.4 times in five years. Yet, as Y Combinator's company page notes, India is expected to add $2.37 trillion in financial wealth by 2030 while fewer than one in ten Indians currently invest, with physical assets still dominant.

Wealthtech is drawing steady capital around Vouch: Dealroom notes AI-native wealth manager CREST raised $3.1 million at pre-seed in June and PowerUp Money raised $7.1 million.

Why it matters for founders

A $500,000 Y Combinator cheque is small; the bet is structural — converting property- and gold-heavy household wealth into financial assets. For wealthtech founders, Vouch's open question is the one that matters most: licensing and trust, not the model, will decide whether families hand over their portfolios.
