The round
AI startup Vectorial has raised $3 million in a funding round led by SenseAI Ventures, the company announced on October 21, 2026. The round also saw participation from Smilegate, Berkeley SkyDeck, Berkeley AI Research Lab, Dent Capital, Motus Ventures, SUM Ventures and strategic investors.
For startup funding in India, the round is a useful signal: AI startups are raising on the back of enterprise-ready products with paying customers, not just demos. Vectorial already counts boAt, GoodRx, Suki AI, Everkind and Concrete Software among its customers.
What Vectorial does
Vectorial builds SAPIENS, a human-behaviour simulation model that uses demographic, psychological and behavioural data to predict how consumers will respond to digital products, features, advertising campaigns and experiences before they reach real users. The company says SAPIENS is 30% more accurate than general-purpose large language models in predicting human behaviour.
The scale is significant: Vectorial has modelled more than 2.5 million people globally — including 500,000 in India — and has conducted over 30,000 simulations for product, design and marketing teams.
What comes next
The company will use the capital to expand its behavioural datasets through new data partnerships and advance SAPIENS 2.0, the next version of its simulation model. Co-founder and CEO Taranveer Singh told ETEntrepreneur the company plans to expand its presence in India, where it is "onboarding more Indian customers as we speak" — a bet on fast-growing Indian businesses expanding across domestic consumer segments and international markets.
Why it matters for founders
Behavioural data is quietly becoming the moat in AI — models anyone can download compete on cost, while proprietary simulation data compounds. Vectorial’s $3 million is priced on data depth (2.5 million people modelled) and paying logos, not hype. For founders, the lesson is to raise on a measurable edge over the baseline — here, 30% more accuracy than general-purpose LLMs — because that’s the number investors can diligence.
