Triple Jump (triplejump.eu) is a Dutch impact investment manager headquartered in Amsterdam and a signatory to the Operating Principles for Impact Management since September 2019. It invests across financial inclusion, MSME finance and clean energy in emerging markets spanning Africa, Asia, Eastern Europe, the Middle East and Latin America, using debt and equity through eight funds and mandates.

Funds and scale

Its vehicles include the ASN Microcredit Pool, MicroBuild Fund, Oxfam Novib Fund, Triple Jump Financial Inclusion Resilience Fund (FIRF), Global Gender Smart Fund (co-managed), the Dutch Good Growth Fund (Track 2), the Energy Entrepreneurs Growth Fund and Clean Energy and Energy Inclusion for Africa. Total assets under management and advisory stand at EUR 1.1 billion (USD 1.3 billion) as of 30 September 2025 (official disclosure). The flagship FIRF reached USD 85 million as of February 2025 — launched in 2022 with a USD 72M first close backed by the Dutch Good Growth Fund, ASN Microkredietfonds and the US DFC, plus a USD 4M investment from the Visa Foundation in November 2024. FIRF provides subordinated debt to financial intermediaries serving MSMEs and low-income borrowers. Steven Evers is Chief Executive Officer.

India investment

Triple Jump invested $5.4 million in Light Microfinance, the Ahmedabad-based NBFC-MFI, as part of a roughly $25M round alongside British International Investment ($9.2M), the Nordic Microfinance Initiative ($7.9M) and Incofin ($2M) — a textbook example of its model: backing the financial intermediaries that bank India's underbanked.

Triple Jump's eight funds and mandates read as a map of European impact capital: the ASN Microcredit Pool, MicroBuild Fund, Oxfam Novib Fund, Financial Inclusion Resilience Fund, Global Gender Smart Fund (co-managed), the Dutch Good Growth Fund (Track 2), the Energy Entrepreneurs Growth Fund and Clean Energy and Energy Inclusion for Africa. As a signatory to the Operating Principles for Impact Management since September 2019, it discloses impact methodology — a transparency standard still rare among private managers.

The Light Microfinance deal shows the model in action: $5.4 million from Triple Jump invested alongside British International Investment ($9.2M), the Nordic Microfinance Initiative ($7.9M) and Incofin ($2M) in a roughly $25M round for the Ahmedabad-based NBFC-MFI. With EUR 1.1 billion (USD 1.3 billion) under management and advisory as of September 2025, it is among the largest dedicated financial-inclusion managers engaging India.

Why it matters for founders

If you run an Indian NBFC-MFI, MSME lender or clean-energy financier, Triple Jump is a natural anchor: it writes the subordinated debt and equity that commercial capital won't, and its FIRF vehicle is purpose-built for intermediaries serving low-income borrowers. Approach via its Amsterdam team or through co-investors like BII.
