Mumbai-based Swyom Advisors Limited has filed its draft red herring prospectus (DRHP) for a listing on the SME platform of BSE, joining a busy October pipeline for financial-services IPOs. The filing was made on 9 October 2026.

The IPO will comprise up to 50,00,000 equity shares of face value Rs 10 each — a fresh issue of up to 40,00,000 shares plus an offer for sale of up to 10,00,000 shares by promoter selling shareholders Radha Raman Agarwal and Sweta Agarwal. The stated objectives include Rs 1,100 lakh of capital expenditure towards purchasing additional office premises, Rs 236 lakh for hiring sales and research manpower, and Rs 456.25 lakh for repaying borrowings, alongside general corporate purposes and offer expenses. GYR Capital Advisors is the book-running lead manager and KFin Technologies the registrar.

Swyom is an investment-management and financial-services company with three verticals — alternative investment fund management, broking and related services, and business consulting — and holds a SEBI registration for portfolio management services. It acts as investment manager to Swyom India Alpha Fund, a Category III AIF with assets under management of Rs 314.96 crore across 176 investors as of 31 August 2026. Originally incorporated in 1996 as Dropati Share and Securities Limited, it was renamed Swyom Advisors in 2020.

For the year ended 31 March 2026, the company reported revenue from operations of Rs 969.95 lakh, EBITDA of Rs 681.88 lakh and a profit after tax of Rs 527.34 lakh, with an EBITDA margin of 59.66% and a PAT margin of 54.37%. Chairman and MD Radha Raman Agarwal brings over 22 years of corporate experience, with earlier roles at Asian Paints and Pidilite Industries.

Why it matters for founders

A boutique AIF manager listing on the SME platform is itself a market signal: India's asset-management businesses are becoming IPO-ready much earlier. For fintech and wealth-tech founders, the structure here is the template to study — a small firm monetising an AIF plus broking and consulting, converting Rs 10 crore of revenue into Rs 5.3 crore of profit, and heading to the public market.
