Invest-tech startup StockGro has raised ₹110 crore (around $10.4 million) as an extension of its ongoing Series B round, led by existing investor BITKRAFT Ventures, according to MCA documents accessed by Inc42. The raise lands just weeks after its parent, AssetGro Fintech Ltd, pre-filed draft IPO papers with SEBI via the confidential route on 26 September 2026.

The board approved issuing 14,004 Series B CCPS at ₹78,668 per share, aggregating to ₹110.16 crore. BITKRAFT is infusing ₹60.1 crore, followed by Aditum Venture Capital Fund with ₹23.1 crore, alongside India SME Growth Fund, Systematix Fincorp and angel investors including Suniel Shetty. The capital will fund growth and expansion, working capital and general corporate purposes. StockGro declined to comment.

The tranche is the latest in a series of Series B top-ups: StockGro raised ₹150 crore from Param Capital founder Mukul Agarwal in December 2025 and $13 million in a Series B1 from BITKRAFT shortly after. The company is reportedly targeting a ₹2,000–2,500 crore IPO, likely with a ₹800 crore fresh issue and an offer for sale by existing shareholders.

StockGro combines stock-market research with a social layer — users track stocks, study portfolios, follow investors and consult SEBI-registered analysts — plus Stoxo, an AI research assistant for stocks, mutual funds and investment themes. The company has raised about $110 million to date and claims over 4.5 crore users, with backers including Roots Ventures and General Catalyst.

Why it matters for founders

Pre-IPO rounds funded by insiders are a classic de-risking move: clean up the cap table and bank growth capital before the public-market filing. If your startup is 12–18 months from a listing, a loyal-investor bridge round can buy the growth story the IPO narrative needs.
