Startup funding in India keeps rewarding enterprise AI: Shamrock AI, an enterprise AI startup building an agentic assurance platform, has raised $5 million (about ₹47.4 crore) in a seed round led by Endiya Partners, with participation from Capria Ventures. The raise was reported on October 15, 2026.

The first institutional round will accelerate product development, expand the team across India and the US, scale go-to-market efforts and build a presence in the Middle East. Founded in 2026 by Sarat Addanki, Anuraag Nallapati and Michael (Mick) Gallagher, the startup is headquartered in Shillong and expects 70% to 80% of its workforce to be based in India.

Enterprise AI assurance is the new startup funding India thesis

Shamrock AI's platform uses an Enterprise Business Knowledge Graph to connect business processes, systems, data and configurations — giving AI agents context about how an enterprise actually operates. It starts with agentic test lifecycle automation for ERP transformations, including SAP S/4HANA migrations, and plans to expand into data observability and autonomous business process automation.

Despite its young age, the startup says it already serves multiple Fortune 500 customers, including a Fortune 100 AI hardware manufacturer and a Fortune 100 healthcare company. It also plans a client-facing team in the US.

Why it matters for founders

AI agents are easy to demo and hard to trust inside large enterprises — that's exactly the gap Shamrock AI is selling into. Landing Fortune 500 logos before a Series A shows that assurance and reliability, not model cleverness, is what enterprise buyers pay for. Founders building agent tooling should lead with trust.
