Listed media-tech company Quint Digital Limited has raised ₹90.87 crore through a rights issue that was fully subscribed by public shareholders, with bids amounting to 1.09 times the issue size, the company announced on October 20, 2026. The raise caps a strong quarter for the group in a week where startup funding in India stayed concentrated on proven revenue stories.

The company reported consolidated revenue from operations of ₹36.78 crore for the quarter ended September 30, 2026 — an increase of 372% year-on-year. Revenue for the first half of FY27 stood at ₹71.57 crore, up 354%, with adjusted profit before tax of ₹5.67 crore in Q2.

The engine is Quintype, Quint Digital's AI-powered media technology business, which contributed ₹34.3 crore of Q2 revenue. Its editorial technology is used by more than 300 publishers worldwide. The group also holds a minority stake in US-based Lee Enterprises, which operates local news businesses across 72 markets in 25 American states, and has acquired New York-based social analytics platform ListenFirst Media.

Separately, the company's Time Out Market Delhi at Worldmark, Aerocity remains on track to open in December 2026, marking its entry into experience-led hospitality with 11 culinary concepts and two signature bars.

Why it matters for founders

Quint Digital's rights issue — fully subscribed alongside 372% revenue growth — shows public markets still reward media-tech businesses with real enterprise customers. For founders, the playbook is familiar: productise the tech (Quintype's AI editorial platform), go global early, then use balance-sheet capital to enter adjacent consumer plays.
