Global investor Qualcomm Ventures divested nearly one per cent of logistics solutions provider Shadowfax Technologies for ₹157.28 crore through an open-market transaction on Monday, October 12, 2026.

According to BSE bulk-deal data, Qualcomm's affiliate Qualcomm Asia Pacific Pte Ltd sold a little over 57.13 lakh shares, representing a 0.98 per cent stake in the Bengaluru-based company, at an average price of ₹275.30 per share.

Details of the buyers could not be identified from the exchange data. Shadowfax Technologies' shares ended marginally lower at ₹294.75 apiece on the BSE following the transaction.

At the end of the June quarter, Qualcomm Asia Pacific held a 2.26 per cent stake in Shadowfax, per shareholding data on the exchange — so this sale is a significant trimming of its position. It is also the second partial exit in two months: in August, Qualcomm Ventures sold a 1.3 per cent stake in Shadowfax for ₹184 crore.

Qualcomm Asia Pacific is a regional corporate affiliate and the investment arm of US-based semiconductor and wireless technology major Qualcomm, which has backed several Indian startups through Qualcomm Ventures. The sale was reported by PTI on October 13, 2026.

Why it matters for founders

Repeat partial exits by a blue-chip early investor are a normal part of post-listing life — but two stake sales in two months is a liquidity signal worth watching. For founders, the lesson is that how gracefully your stock absorbs insider selling matters as much as the listing pop.
