Pine Labs has launched a unified merchant platform in Singapore, combining payment acceptance, acquiring, instalment payments and customer engagement into a single technology layer. The platform integrates cards and alternative payment methods with bank- and brand-backed instalment plans, letting merchants offer flexible checkout options without juggling multiple vendors.

The company is also integrating its Fave consumer payments and engagement app, which offers rewards, cashback and merchant-funded offers — a loyalty loop designed to lift conversion and support higher-value purchases through instalments.

Pine Labs already operates across more than 20 markets and serves Singapore brands including Courts, iStudio, CapitaLand and FairPrice. The Singapore launch follows its recent payments expansion in the Philippines through a partnership with GCash.

The move underscores how Indian fintech infrastructure companies are exporting full-stack merchant solutions to Southeast Asia — competing not on a single feature but on the complete payments-plus-engagement stack.

Why it matters for founders

Pine Labs' Singapore play shows the winning export strategy for Indian fintech: sell the full stack (acceptance + instalments + loyalty), not a point product. If you're expanding into Southeast Asia, bundling engagement with payments creates the stickiness that pure processing can't.
