Pidilite Ventures, the corporate venture capital arm of Pidilite Industries — the Indian adhesives giant behind Fevicol, Fevikwik and Dr. Fixit — was established in 2020 and operates out of Bangalore. It is structured as Pidilite Ventures Pvt. Ltd., a wholly owned subsidiary of the parent company, with a stated mission to "find, fund and support entrepreneurs in the home improvement industry."

The firm's thesis is tightly strategic: it invests in fast-growing, innovative companies that have synergies with Pidilite's core and adjacent businesses. Its five investment domains are Home Care & Maintenance, Contractor as a Customer, Home Improvement & Renovation, Arts & Craft, and Smart / Green Building Materials. Backed startups typically consume Pidilite's products directly or indirectly, giving the parent a front-row view of how its ecosystem is evolving.

Unlike most corporate VCs, Pidilite Ventures has deliberately set aside no fixed fund corpus. It invests off the parent company's balance sheet, which makes it a patient-capital investor under no pressure to return money on a fixed timeline. It is explicitly stage-agnostic — "be it Seed or Series D" — and invests at whatever stage the startup needs. In 2022, the firm partnered with early-stage fund 100X.VC, which provides the investment framework while decision-making rests with Pidilite.

By early 2024, the firm had cumulatively invested $35 million across ten Indian startups: Livspace, HomeLane, Pepperfry, BuildNext, Aapka Painter, Imagimake, Onsite Teams, Finemake, Pace Robotics, and Kaarwan. Activity has continued since: in July 2024 it put ₹5 crore into home improvement and maintenance platform Wify as part of its pre-Series A round led by Capria and Mount Judi Ventures, with participation from Blume Ventures; in October 2025 it doubled down on educational-toys maker Imagimake with a ₹34 crore Series B (a mix of primary and secondary capital), following its ₹20 crore Series A investment in October 2023; and it moved to acquire up to a 20% stake in home décor brand MagicDecor (Printpanda India) for ₹5.10 crore.

The face of the venture arm publicly is Sanket Parekh, Director at Pidilite Ventures, who has described the arm as a vehicle for accessing startup innovation in areas where Pidilite is traditionally involved — a way for the company to stay close to frontline customers while offering founders strategic inputs drawn from deep industry experience.

Why it matters for founders

If your startup touches the home — interiors, renovation, maintenance, contractors, arts and craft, or green building materials — Pidilite Ventures offers something few investors can: no fixed fund deadline, stage-agnostic cheques, and a strategic partner whose distribution and consumer insight can open doors that capital alone cannot.
