Mumbai-based logistics company LEAP India reported a net profit of Rs 17.8 crore in Q2 FY27, up 62% from nearly Rs 11 crore a year earlier. Revenue from operations jumped 18.2% to Rs 211.2 crore from Rs 178.7 crore in Q2 FY26, according to results reported on 26–27 October 2026.

The quarter in numbers

Including other income of Rs 4.7 crore, total income stood at Rs 215.9 crore. EBITDA rose 25% to Rs 109.7 crore, with the EBITDA margin expanding 91 basis points to 50.8%. Total expenses rose 14.7% to Rs 185.2 crore.

Two items tempered the headline. Profit slipped 28% sequentially from Rs 24.7 crore in Q1 FY27, and the company incurred a one-time charge of Rs 6.8 crore for prepayment of long-term borrowings, alongside an additional Rs 6 crore in tax expenses during the quarter. For the first half of FY27, LEAP reported total income of Rs 429.4 crore and profit after tax of Rs 42.5 crore, up 42% year on year.

Two acquisitions worth Rs 142 crore

Alongside results, LEAP signed agreements through wholly owned subsidiaries to acquire the businesses of Vimprotech and Total International Packaging Solutions (TIPS) for a combined consideration of Rs 142 crore. The two businesses generated Rs 65 crore in revenue in FY26 and serve more than 200 customers across electronics, white goods, pharmaceuticals, agriculture, automotive and food and beverages.

LEAP has guided for more than 20% revenue growth in FY27, with its strongest quarters still ahead, according to StartupFeed's summary of the results.

Why it matters for founders

LEAP's quarter shows the two levers of a maturing logistics business: operating leverage (revenue up 18%, EBITDA up 25%) and inorganic expansion (two acquisitions adding manufacturing and pooling capacity). The sequential profit dip is a reminder to read past the headline — one-time charges and tax explain more than the business trend does.
