Kolkata-based menswear and kidswear D2C brand KISAH has announced a ₹35.9-crore Series A round led by Fireside Ventures at a ₹211-crore post-money valuation.

Founded in 2018 by Yash Sarawagi with co-founders Yashwi Ladsaria and Saurav Kothari, KISAH sells ethnic and occasion wear through Myntra, Amazon, AJIO, Nykaa and 12 offline stores — and it is that omnichannel footprint, not just online sales, that underpins the round.

The numbers that earned Fireside's lead: KISAH clocked ₹65 crore in FY26 revenue while remaining profitable — a rare profitable-scale profile in D2C apparel. The capital will fund retail expansion toward a 100-store target plus investment in supply chain, warehousing and technology.

The formal announcement follows regulatory filings for the same round that first surfaced in May 2026; the October announcement adds updated FY26 metrics and the 100-store ambition, confirming the round's closure and the brand's momentum since.

Ethnic menswear remains one of D2C's most under-organised categories — and KISAH's profitable-growth path to 100 stores is the kind of retail-expansion story that makes later-stage investors pay attention.

Why it matters for founders

KISAH's ₹35.9-crore Series A led by Fireside Ventures at ₹211 crore shows what D2C investors reward in 2026: profitability at scale (₹65 cr FY26 revenue, profitable), an omnichannel footprint (12 stores and counting), and a clear 100-store expansion plan. Raise on profitable unit economics, not vanity GMV.
