The basis of allotment for the Rs 30,213 crore Jio Platforms IPO has been finalised, and applicants can now check their allotment status through registrar KFin Technologies and on the websites of the NSE and BSE. Shares are due to be credited to allottees' demat accounts on 27 October 2026, with refunds for non-allottees processed the same day, ahead of listing on 28 October 2026 at 10 am.
The issue, priced in a band of Rs 1,065 to Rs 1,119 per share with a lot size of 12 shares, was open from 21 to 23 October and was subscribed 22.19 times overall. Institutional demand was the standout: qualified institutional buyers bid 70.6 times their quota, non-institutional investors 14.0 times, and retail investors 2.7 times.
What applicants should check now
Applicants can check status on KFin Technologies' IPO status page, or on the NSE and BSE allotment pages, using their PAN, application number or demat account details. Because the retail portion was oversubscribed, retail allotment was decided by lottery, so a valid application does not guarantee shares.
The unofficial grey-market premium was indicated at around Rs 245 per share against the Rs 1,119 upper price band. That is market sentiment, not a listing outcome, and it is no guarantee of where the shares will open on 28 October. For founders watching the ecosystem, the more durable signal is the scale of demand itself: roughly 1.39 crore applications for India's largest-ever IPO, in a week when several other mainboard issues are also open.
Why it matters for founders
A 22-times subscribed IPO does not change your next fundraise, but it does change the backdrop: late-stage capital, public-market appetite and acquirer balance sheets all move with sentiment like this. If you are planning a round in the next two quarters, watch the 28 October listing, not the grey-market chatter, for the real signal.
