Visionaries Club is a Berlin-based early-stage venture capital firm with offices in Berlin and London, founded in 2019 by Robert Lacher and Sebastian Pollok. Its defining idea is that the best support a fund can offer founders is the authentic knowledge and access of its own investors — and its investor base is built from Europe's most successful digital founders and family-business entrepreneurs.

The thesis centres on European business-to-business technology at seed and early-growth stage, with a growing deep-tech and climate-tech arm. The firm's limited partners include founders and operators behind companies such as UiPath, Miro, Flixbus, Mollie, Spotify, Personio, Adyen, HelloFresh and Pitch, giving portfolio companies a direct line to people who have already scaled through the same journey.

Visionaries Club operates two core funds: a €150 million seed-stage fund that uses its unicorn and digital-founder network for very early access to promising entrepreneurs across Europe, and a €200 million early-growth fund that draws on its industrial family-business network to support B2B companies from Series B onwards. Investment sizes range from €25,000 to more than €5 million, and the firm's fund documents put the average initial investment at around €0.7 million for the seed fund and around €3 million for the growth fund.

Alongside the core funds, the firm runs Visionaries Tomorrow, a dedicated deep-tech fund backing founders rebuilding the physical foundations of large industries, with portfolio companies including fusion company Proxima Fusion, which raised a €145 million Series A described as Europe's largest private fusion round. Judith Dada joined as a general partner, reuniting with Lacher after their shared work on La Famiglia's first fund.

Notable portfolio companies include Lovable, the AI platform that builds software from natural-language descriptions; n8n, the workflow-automation platform; Taktile, the automated decision-making platform; Tandem, the AI medical-records company; Orbio, Adfin, Insify and Lindus Health. Partners at the firm include Robert Jackle, who became a partner at 26, and London-based partner Venkat Kondragunta.

Visionaries Club does not run a founder accelerator programme, and no startup credits or perks package is publicly advertised. What it offers instead is network access: introductions to its founder-investors, its family-business limited partners, and a deep bench of co-investors. It also runs a six-month Visiting Analyst programme, but that is a talent programme for aspiring investors, not a founder programme.

How to apply for funding

Founders can pitch Visionaries Club directly by email — the firm's published general contact is [email protected] — or through its website, visionaries.vc. Partners at the firm have said they care less about a polished message format than about the substance inside it: passion, obsession with the problem, and the ability to communicate a vision. Lead with why your B2B company can become a category leader in Europe, and be specific about which part of the firm's network — digital founders or industrial family businesses — would actually move the needle for you.

Why it matters for founders

Visionaries Club is the rare seed fund whose value is its investor list itself: a €150 million seed fund backed by founders behind UiPath, Spotify, Adyen and HelloFresh, built to give European B2B founders the introductions that usually take years to earn.
