ValPro Capital — the private investment arm of the four-decades-old ANG Group (real estate, natural stone, travel and investment banking) — is one of the few Indian investment firms that straddles startup investing, deal advisory and multi-asset investing under one roof. Its name is short for "Value Prolific": the firm says it aims to add value well beyond the cheque.
The thesis: opportunistic, value-add, long-term
ValPro Capital scouts for opportunistic investments across asset classes — private and public equity, real estate and art — and describes itself as a medium-to-long-term investor that believes in transparency and equity. It explicitly avoids chasing the latest hot trend, preferring opportunities aligned with the changing global macroeconomic landscape. For startups, the value-add pitch is concrete: strategic inputs for scaling, mentorship, client connects through corporate relationships, structuring advice, and funding advice for subsequent rounds.
Sectors and stages
On the startup side, ValPro's official "Early Stage/Startups/LP" portfolio lists Entellus Industries (rare-earth manufacturing), Skaya (creator-led travel experiences), Purple Style Labs (luxury house for Indian designers, which has since made its IPO debut), Oceedee (premium handcrafted shoes), Bonhomia (D2C coffee — ValPro participated in its $500,000 bridge round), Net2Travel (traveltech, exited), Aarav Unmanned Systems (drones, exited) and Appin Securities (cybersecurity, exited). It is also an LP in Sixth Sense Ventures, the consumer VC. Beyond startups, the firm invests across PIPE and public SMEs, pre-IPO (NSE, NSDL, Metropolitan Stock Exchange), real estate and art.
Partners
The team is led by directors Anshuman Khanna (chartered accountant and lawyer; has advised investment transactions valued in excess of USD 1 billion), Chaitanya Gadia (chartered accountant and rank holder; ex-EY and JM Financial) and Neha Khanna (chartered accountant with an MBA from Oxford's Said Business School; ex-PwC; focused on building an ecosystem for startups and SMEs in India).
Programmes: Enablers
ValPro's best-known startup programme is Enablers, a web-based deal-enabling platform launched in 2015. At launch it had reviewed 200 companies, shortlisted 25–30 for investment, and signed up 26 investors (18 individuals, 8 institutions), with ten companies already in investor discussions. Enablers tied up with Nasscom's 10,000 Startups initiative and the SIIC of IIT Kanpur, and its advisory vertical helped Delhi-based Rusk Media raise a seed round involving InfoEdge Venture Fund. In September 2026 ValPro published a D2C ecosystem report covering 350 funding transactions across 90 companies.
Fund size
ValPro Capital has not publicly disclosed a fund corpus — it invests off the ANG Group's balance sheet as a private investment arm rather than as a closed-end fund.
How to apply for funding
Founders can pitch through the Enablers platform (enablersinvestment.com), which vets and showcases business proposals to investors, or contact the firm directly at [email protected] / +91-11-46001000 as listed on its official website.
Why it matters for founders
ValPro suits founders who want more than a cheque — structuring help, corporate connects and follow-on fundraising advice from a team that has executed billion-dollar transactions, plus a real shot at follow-on rounds.
