Investment thesis
Stellantis Ventures is the corporate venture fund of Stellantis N.V., launched on 8 March 2022 as a key component of the group's Dare Forward 2030 strategic plan. It was established with an initial investment of EUR 300 million, making it the group's first corporate venture fund. The fund runs a distinctive dual mandate: portfolio companies must show strong, sustainable growth prospects and a high potential for their technology to be adopted inside Stellantis products and operations.
Investments are organised around the three Dare Forward 2030 pillars of CARE, TECH and VALUE, supporting Stellantis' push toward deep emission cuts (CO2 halved by 2030 against 2021) and carbon net zero by 2038. Chief Technology Officer Ned Curic frames the mission as connecting with companies developing cutting-edge technology that can transform the in-cabin experience and the mobility sector.
Sectors, stages and cheque size
The fund targets early and later-stage startups developing cutting-edge technologies for the automotive and mobility sectors. Its remit covers sustainability, competitiveness and in-vehicle technology, and explicitly extends to transforming customer experiences in vehicle marketing, sales and finance. Stellantis has not published typical cheque sizes; the public figure is the EUR 300 million initial fund commitment.
Notable portfolio companies
The named startups were 6K (sustainable manufacturing and critical battery materials), NetZero (biochar-based long-term carbon removal), Nauto (AI and computer vision for fleet safety, deployed across more than 800 commercial fleets), Trails Offroad (digital off-road trail guides integrated into Jeep Uconnect), Viaduct (AI vehicle analytics for quality and predictive maintenance), Geoflex (satellite positioning accurate to 4 centimetres), Envisics (dynamic holographic AR head-up displays), Electra Vehicles (AI-driven battery-management software), Lyten (whose Lyten 3D Graphene platform includes a lithium-sulfur battery with zero nickel, cobalt or manganese) and beweelsociety, a connected e-bike venture with roots inside Stellantis itself.
The fund's site additionally lists Assembly Ventures, Factorial (solid-state batteries), Steerlight (LiDAR), Tiamat (sodium-ion batteries), Niron Magnetics, and Wayve (autonomous-driving AI), and flags milestone events including an IPO for Factorial and exits at Geoflex and Viaduct.

Geographic focus

How to apply for funding
Stellantis' own press releases give founders a direct route: entrepreneurs and startups seeking funding are invited to visit https://stellantis.ventures, the fund's official site, which is the published point of contact for pitches.
Why it matters for founders
A EUR 300 million fund with a dual mandate means Stellantis Ventures is explicitly looking for technologies it can put into cars, factories and dealerships. If your startup can survive automotive-grade validation, the prize is not just capital but deployment across 14 global brands.
