Introduction
Revo Capital is a venture capital firm founded in 2013 that describes itself as Turkiye's pioneering and largest early-stage technology investor. It backs companies with roots in Turkiye, through a Turkish founder or a Turkish research and development team, and invests opportunistically across Central and Eastern Europe.
Thesis
The thesis is that Turkish technical talent is underfunded at Series A. Revo Capital states that only 3.4 percent of seed-funded Turkish startups reach Series A, compared with 16 percent in the United Kingdom and 21 percent in Germany. It therefore leads Series A and Series B rounds, reserves follow-on capital, and helps companies internationalise, often by moving headquarters abroad while keeping research teams in Turkiye. Over 70 percent of portfolio revenue is generated internationally.
Sectors and stages
Revo Capital focuses on fintech, where it says it is the most active investor in Turkiye, alongside B2B software as a service, cybersecurity and health technology. Fund III adds energy and gaming as dedicated verticals, and treats artificial intelligence as a horizontal catalyst across every sector. Stages run from pre-seed and seed through Series A and Series B.
Fund size and cheque size
Across its first two funds, Revo Capital managed $180 million in total. In 2025 it launched Fund III, a $100 million fund aiming to invest in over 25 early-stage startups by 2030. Its first close raised $86 million, anchored by $20 million from IFC, $20 million from KfW DEG and $15 million from the EBRD. Initial Fund III investments are up to $5 million, with total exposure up to $10 million per company including follow-ons. Its seed pocket invests $250,000 to $500,000.
Notable portfolio
Across its first two funds, Revo Capital invested in 40 technology startups and achieved 17 successful exits. It was an early investor in two unicorns, Getir and Builder.ai. Other leaders named by the firm include Midas, ikas, Param, Parasut, Massive Bio, Figopara, Bumper, TransferGo and Logiwa. The spread covers payments, investing, accounting, logistics and travel technology.
Partners and team
Revo Capital is led by founding partner and managing director Cenk Bayrakdar, with Berkin Toktas named in IFC materials as a leader of the firm. Corporate venture participants named include Finberg, Eksim Ventures, Inveo Ventures and Yildiz Ventures.
Programs, credits and perks
Revo Capital does not publish a standalone accelerator, credits programme or perks catalogue in the sources reviewed. Its support is hands-on partnership through scaling: help with international expansion, follow-on fundraising, enterprise customers and hiring. Founders should judge the offer on the partner relationship, Series A leadership and follow-on reserve, rather than on a published bundle of credits. Confirm any specific support directly before signing.
How to apply for funding from Revo Capital
Revo Capital does not publish a public application portal in the sources reviewed, so founders should approach via the firm's official site and contact route only, at revo.vc. Lead with Turkish roots or a Turkish research team, a clear Series A use of funds, evidence of international demand, and a credible path to follow-on growth. State whether you fit the seed pocket or a larger Series A round.
Why it matters for founders
For Turkish-rooted founders, Revo Capital offers early conviction, Series A leadership and up to $10 million of total exposure per company. Its record with Getir and Builder.ai shows it can back breakout companies, but its real value is the bridge from local traction to global revenue.
