CrowdStrike Falcon Fund funding is the investment arm of cybersecurity giant CrowdStrike, launched in August 2019 in partnership with Accel. It is a $20 million early-stage fund aimed at seed and Series A security startups that build on the CrowdStrike Falcon platform. The fund acts as a strategic co-investor alongside lead investors — and today its most active pipeline is the CrowdStrike Cybersecurity Startup Accelerator, run with AWS and NVIDIA, which has supported more than 90 startups that have collectively raised nearly $1 billion.

CrowdStrike Falcon Fund funding: thesis and focus areas

The thesis is platform leverage. The fund invests in companies that solve pressing security and IT challenges by exploiting the Falcon platform's cloud-native architecture and open API model — performing analytics on endpoint data or taking actions on the endpoint. Qualifying startups, per the launch announcement, need an experienced and hungry team tackling a significant problem, existing interest from other lead investors (early-stage rounds preferred), usage of the Falcon cloud platform and endpoint agent, and an attractive market opportunity. Beyond capital, startups get integration and go-to-market support through the CrowdStrike Store and, now, the CrowdStrike Marketplace — distribution to CrowdStrike's enterprise customer base without deploying another agent.

Fund size and cheque sizes

The fund launched at $20 million (2019), dedicated to seed and Series A. Individual cheque sizes are not publicly disclosed; CrowdStrike says outstanding accelerator companies may be considered for Falcon Fund investment, with terms handled case by case. A recent example: Above Security received a strategic Falcon Fund investment in 2026 following its $50 million financing led by Ballistic Ventures, Merlin Ventures and Norwest — financial terms of the Falcon Fund's own cheque were not disclosed.

Notable portfolio

Recent Falcon Fund-backed activity centres on the accelerator alumni: Above Security (AI-native insider risk management, integrated with Falcon Next-Gen SIEM), Jazz (agentic AI-powered data loss prevention via its Melody investigator, now on Falcon Foundry), Onum (acquired by CrowdStrike), Terra Security (agentic AI offensive security, raised $38 million), and Remedio, formerly GYTPOL (AI-powered device posture management, raised $65 million). Fabrix Security, another alum, was acquired by Silverfort.

Team and leads

The fund was announced by CrowdStrike CEO and co-founder George Kurtz with Accel partner Sameer Gandhi as the co-investment partner. The accelerator programme is run by CrowdStrike chief business officer Daniel Bernard. No individual Falcon Fund investment lead is publicly named.

Programmes, credits and product tie-ins

The flagship is the CrowdStrike Cybersecurity Startup Accelerator with AWS and NVIDIA: technical training and developer resources via NVIDIA Inception, AWS Partner Network onboarding and marketplace listing support, accelerated access to Falcon Foundry agent-creation tools and Falcon APIs, and the chance to publish verified integrations in the CrowdStrike Marketplace. Up to 10 startups advance to a live pitch at RSAC 2027 (5–8 April).

How to apply for funding from the CrowdStrike Falcon Fund

There is no standalone Falcon Fund application form — the fund invests off the back of commercial engagement. The verified route is the CrowdStrike Cybersecurity Startup Accelerator application on crowdstrike.com (outstanding companies are explicitly in line for Falcon Fund consideration), or engaging CrowdStrike's startups/partnerships team directly through crowdstrike.com with a product story that runs on the Falcon platform and a lead investor already interested.

Why it matters for founders

CrowdStrike Falcon Fund funding is the rare corporate cheque that comes with a built-in customer channel. If your security product genuinely runs on Falcon, enter via the accelerator — the investment conversation follows the integration.
