Startup funding in India saw a rare advisory-firm buyout: IT advisory firm Infotech has acquired Bengaluru-based SaaS startup Zluri to add application discovery and identity governance capabilities to its offerings stack. The terms of the transaction were not disclosed. The acquisition is Infotech's first in 30 years, as it aims to expand its technology capabilities.

Following the acquisition, Zluri will operate as a standalone division within Infotech, retaining its product development and core engineering teams in Bengaluru, and continue serving existing customers. It will contribute to Infotech's newly launched CIO Analytics platform — an API-driven advisory model combining operational IT data with AI-assisted services and analyst expertise. For Zluri, the deal opens a pathway to enterprise customers through Infotech's global community of more than 30,000 IT leaders.

A Lightspeed-backed SaaS story finds its exit

Founded in 2020 by Ritish Reddy, Chaithanya Yambari and Sethu Meenakshisundaram, Zluri's platform helps businesses track and manage all the digital tools employees use — work apps, cloud software and AI tools — while controlling access, cutting unused subscriptions and protecting data. It caters to over 250 enterprise clients globally, including Monday.com, Tipalti, Whoop, Catapult Sports, Razorpay, Smartnews, Amagi, Daxko and Traveloka, and earns over 60% of its revenue from Europe and North America.

Why it matters for founders

A SaaS exit without an IPO: Zluri's 250 enterprise clients and 60% international revenue made it an acquisition target, not just a funding story. The lesson for SaaS founders is that distribution partnerships — like Infotech's 30,000-IT-leader community — can be worth more than another funding round. Build where buyers already are.
