Applications for Imagine H2O's 2027 accelerator programmes are open through Friday, November 20, 2026 — the global water innovation organisation is inviting early-stage water-tech startups, including Indian founders, to apply for its Imagine H2O Accelerator and Imagine H2O Asia programmes, it announced on October 15, 2026.
Eligibility
Applicants must be for-profit, less than 10 years old, under $5M in annual revenue, with proof of concept completed. Raised-equity caps differ: under $10M for the Accelerator and under $20M for Imagine H2O Asia — the Asia track being the most relevant route for Indian water-tech founders. The new cohort will be announced in April 2027.

Apply through imagineh2o.org/apply before November 20, 2026. Selected companies get mentorship from industry experts, investors and entrepreneurs; potential funding from leading water-focused venture capital firms; global exposure to customers and stakeholders; and customised scaling support. The Accelerator drew more than 400 applications last year.

Since 2009, Imagine H2O has supported 270+ startups deployed in 50+ countries, which have collectively raised more than $1.3 billion. It is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit built as a path to market for emerging water solutions — partnering with industry and policy experts plus a global customer network.
Why it matters for founders
For Indian water-tech founders — from treatment and reuse to irrigation and leak detection — Imagine H2O Asia is one of the few accelerators with water-only capital behind it. The equity caps are strict, so check your numbers before November 20; the network alone is worth the application.
