Traveltech startup Holiday Tribe is in talks to raise around ₹50 crore (about $5.2 million) in a fresh funding round, with RPSG Capital Ventures among the prospective investors, sources told Inc42 in an exclusive report published on 28 October 2026. This is a reported negotiation, not a closed round: Inc42 stresses the round is yet to be finalised, and its size and investor participation could change.
What Holiday Tribe does
Founded in 2022 by Anshu Sharma and Chirag Goyal, both former MakeMyTrip executives, Holiday Tribe offers customised holiday packages, combining AI-powered planning with travel experts for itinerary recommendations, bookings and support across family holidays, honeymoons, luxury trips and group travel.
Its platform features a planning tool called Avni and lists domestic and international destinations including Kerala, Bali, Dubai, Japan, Vietnam and several European markets. Customers can also seek customised quotes through its travel advisors.
Holiday Tribe previously raised ₹25 crore in a pre-Series A round in August 2025, led by Powerhouse Ventures with participation from GSF and undisclosed angel investors, and ₹5.4 crore in seed funding in 2024. Queries sent to Holiday Tribe and RPSG Capital Ventures had not elicited a response by the time of Inc42's publication.
The reported talks come amid fresh investor interest in customised holiday planning, including 30 Sundays' ₹61 crore Series A round and Flipkart's investment in TravClan, both cited by Inc42.
Why it matters for founders
Reported talks are not a term sheet, and founders should read them that way — but the direction is useful. Customised, AI-assisted holiday planning is attracting follow-on interest after earlier rounds, and a ₹50 crore round would roughly double Holiday Tribe's last pre-Series A. Watch for the confirmed close before treating the number as final.
