Bengaluru-based cold-pressed oil D2C brand Gramiyaa has raised ₹18.65 crore in a Series A round led by Optiscape Network Holdings, valuing the company at ₹110 crore — a 49% jump from its ₹74 crore pre-Series A valuation.

Optiscape wrote the largest cheque at ₹9 crore. Existing investors Homegrown Ventures (₹4.5 crore), Campus Fund (₹4 crore), Sarya Global Holdings and Rasagna Pulapaka also participated in the round.

Founded in 2016 by Sibi Manivannan, Gramiyaa manufactures cold-pressed groundnut, coconut, sesame, mustard and olive oils in-house and sells through its own website, Amazon, Blinkit, Zepto, Instamart, BigBasket, DMart Ready and FirstClub — riding both the quick-commerce wave and India's growing clean-label cooking-oil demand.

The round is another data point in the premium-D2C-food thesis: as consumers trade up from unbranded commodity oils, vertically integrated brands with in-house manufacturing command stronger margins and investor conviction than pure marketplace plays.

Gramiyaa's 49% valuation step-up within roughly a year and a half suggests the company is compounding revenue steadily — the kind of capital-efficient D2C growth that is back in favour after the excesses of the 2021 vintage.

Why it matters for founders

Gramiyaa's ₹18.65-crore Series A at a ₹110-crore valuation shows premium D2C food is fundable again when unit economics work: in-house manufacturing, quick-commerce distribution, and a clean-label thesis that commands pricing power. Build the margin story, not just the brand story.
