India's primary market is heading for one of its busiest weeks of the year. Five companies will open their initial public offerings for subscription between October 26 and October 29, aiming to raise a combined ₹2,581 crore. For founders tracking startup funding in India, the rush is a reminder that public markets are wide open for scaled, profitable businesses right now.
Five IPOs, five sectors
The week's largest issue comes from EAAA India Alternatives, the Edelweiss Group arm, which opens its ₹1,200-crore IPO on October 26 and closes it on October 28. The price band is fixed at ₹1,585–1,665 per share, valuing the company at ₹10,765 crore at the upper end. The issue is entirely an offer for sale by the Edelweiss Group, and it has already raised around ₹360 crore from anchor investors.
SFC Environmental Technologies, a wastewater treatment solutions provider, launches its ₹668-crore IPO, with subscription closing on October 29. Its price band is ₹313–330 per share, valuing it at around ₹3,233 crore. The issue comprises a fresh issue of ₹150 crore plus an offer for sale of up to 1.57 crore shares, with fresh proceeds going to debt repayment and working capital.
M K Sons Fine Jewels opens its ₹275.4-crore IPO on October 28, closing October 30, at a price band of ₹153–162 per share. The issue combines a fresh issue of 1.36 crore shares with an offer for sale of 34 lakh shares by promoter selling shareholder Ramchand Murlidhar Raimalani. Proceeds will fund inventory for a new showroom in Maharashtra, expansion of an existing Gujarat showroom, debt repayment and general corporate expenses.
BLS Polymers launches its ₹255-crore IPO on October 27, closing October 29, at ₹142–150 per share. The entirely fresh issue of 1.7 crore shares will put ₹77.56 crore into expanding its manufacturing facility and ₹89.5 crore into working capital.
Bombay Coated and Special Steels opens its ₹183.1-crore IPO on October 29, closing November 2, at ₹78–82 per share. The entirely fresh issue will use ₹125 crore to repay borrowings and ₹15.7 crore for capital equipment under existing lease arrangements with Siemens Financial Services.
Why this week matters
Of the ₹2,581 crore total, fresh equity accounts for ₹808 crore and offers for sale for ₹1,773 crore. The rush follows a blockbuster month in which Jio Platforms launched the country's biggest-ever public issue at ₹30,213 crore. As many as 104 companies have raised over ₹1.4 lakh crore through IPOs so far in 2026. More issues are queued behind this week's five: Gujarat Victory Forging, Milestone Gears, Avaada Electro, Swara Baby Products, Integris Medtech and AGS Health are expected to announce price bands by November 5.
Why it matters for founders
Five IPOs in one week, across alternatives, wastewater, jewellery, polymers and steel, show public-market appetite is broad, not narrow. If your business has scale and a credible path to profitability, the IPO window is open — but anchor demand and grey-market signals will judge pricing harshly, so go in with clean financials, not just a growth story.
