Bengaluru's Desible.ai has raised ₹32 crore (around $3.7 million) in a seed funding round led by Prime Venture Partners, with participation from existing backer Invention Engine, Inc42 reported on October 7.

Founded in 2025 by Uttam Tiwari and Omkar Raikar, Desible.ai is betting that the next big unlock in enterprise AI is not better chatbots, but agent systems that can run entire workflows inside the most compliance-heavy industry of all: banking, financial services and insurance.

The startup entered through voice AI and today orchestrates more than 25 agentic AI workflows spanning revenue, risk and compliance, collections, underwriting, service and claims. Its platform now handles over 10 million customer engagements every month and is being used or evaluated by 40+ BFSI institutions.

Use cases already live include persistence and renewal management, collections, lead qualification, welcome calling, TeleMER, claims intimation and cross-selling. Beyond voice, the company is expanding its orchestration layer across WhatsApp, SMS and email so banks and insurers can automate customer engagement, servicing, operations and compliance workflows end to end.

The fresh capital will deepen its agentic AI capabilities, strengthen compliance infrastructure, expand go-to-market efforts and accelerate product development. The timing matters: as generative and agentic AI push financial firms to automate increasingly complex work, deploying AI in a regulated environment raises hard questions around compliance, auditability, customer consent and data security — exactly the gap vertical platforms like Desible.ai are racing to fill.

The BFSI voice-AI lane is heating up: Navana.ai raised ₹40 crore in a Series A round in September, while Arrowhead picked up a $3 million seed earlier this year, both targeting financial-services automation.

Why it matters for founders

Desible.ai's seed shows where venture money is flowing in applied AI: vertical, outcome-driven platforms in regulated industries. Voice was just the wedge — the real product is the workflow layer that combines automation with industry-specific controls. If you're building AI for BFSI, compliance and auditability are not nice-to-haves; they are the moat.
