Clueso, the agentic video platform for businesses founded by IIT Madras alumni, has raised $10 million in a Series A round led by Dharana Capital. Founders Future and Neotribe Ventures joined as new investors, with participation from Y Combinator and f7 Ventures. The round takes Clueso's total funding to $12 million.
Founded in 2023 by Akash Anand, Prajwal Prakash and Neel Balar, the startup operates out of California and Bengaluru. Clueso builds AI agents that understand a company's products, processes, brand and context, then create and maintain video across the organisation — an "AI video production team that anyone or any team in the organisation can rely on," as co-founder and CEO Akash Anand puts it.
The company says more than 1,000 companies use its platform for marketing, customer success, education, onboarding and training, with customers including Atlassian, Zendesk, Gainsight, GlobalPartners, Seismic and Ironclad. Clueso claims users have reported productivity gains of over 5x and an 80% reduction in video production costs.
The fresh capital will scale Clueso's enterprise go-to-market reach, deepen its agentic layer and expand editing capabilities. "With AI, video is evolving from static media files into living, context-aware assets that continuously adapt as business processes and products change," said Vamsi Duvvuri, Founder and Managing Partner at Dharana Capital.
Why it matters for founders
Agentic AI for video is drawing serious enterprise capital — Clueso's $10M round shows buyers care about video that stays in sync with the product, not one-off creative. If your AI workflow serves a recurring enterprise pain with measurable ROI (5x productivity, 80% cost cut), Series A investors are paying attention.
