AI is coming for short-form storytelling. BULLET Microdrama, backed by ZEE Entertainment Enterprises, is expanding its content slate with more than 100 AI-powered microdramas, with "Do Deewane aur Ashiqui" as the first title to launch.
The company is working with production partners and Trinetra AI, an AI-native filmmaking and content-intelligence platform, to develop short-form vertical stories for mobile-first audiences. Trinetra AI's tools support multiple stages of production — script evaluation, storyboarding, character creation, shot breakdown, video generation and audio orchestration.
Microdramas typically comprise 60–100 high-hook episodes, and the company says AI can accelerate production while letting creators experiment with complex story worlds and genres that would be prohibitively expensive to shoot conventionally.
With a major broadcaster's backing and an AI-native production stack, BULLET is positioning itself at the front of India's vertical-video content wave — where the battle is over production economics as much as audience attention.
Why it matters for founders
BULLET's 100-title AI slate is a live experiment in AI collapsing content production costs. For founders in media, entertainment or creator tools, the signal is that the moat is shifting from content libraries to production pipelines — whoever makes high-quality vertical video cheapest wins the next audience wave.
