Hyderabad-based Bower School has raised Rs 26.8 crore (about $2.82 million) in a pre-Series A round, taking its total funding to Rs 38.3 crore.
Backers were not disclosed in the funding report dated October 13, 2026. Led by founder and CEO Pavan Allena, Bower School of Entrepreneurship offers practical entrepreneurship education and mentorship programmes across school, undergraduate, executive and founder levels — combining practitioner-led learning, mentorship and community tools including Founder OS to help aspiring entrepreneurs build and scale real ventures.
The company serves school students, undergraduates, working professionals and founders, and says it will use the fresh funds to strengthen its programmes, develop a standalone campus, expand its technology platform connecting learners, founders and the community, hire educators and practitioners, and grow through university partnerships.
Bower joins a small but growing set of Indian education startups focused on startup-building as a curriculum — Mesa School of Business raised a Rs 110 crore Series A just days earlier, suggesting capital is clustering around the idea that entrepreneurship can be taught.
Why it matters for founders
A Rs 26.8 crore pre-Series A for entrepreneurship education — with a standalone campus planned — shows investors believe the next generation of Indian founders can be systematically built. For edtech founders, the signal is that applied, practitioner-led learning is where the money is moving.
