ROSATOM and IIT Bombay have launched "Atomic Hack India 2026", a hackathon to solve next-generation energy grid challenges. Registration is now open and will close on October 20, 2026.
Participants will receive free access to the REPEAT VISION platform, introductory training webinars, and direct mentorship from ROSATOM engineers and IIT Bombay professors — with no prior experience with the software required.
The winning teams stand to receive career-launching opportunities: a sponsored international research trip to Moscow to visit ROSATOM's advanced engineering centres, internship opportunities at JSC ETC GET, and official certificates.
The hackathon is aimed at equipping the next generation of energy leaders with practical digital skills for grid modernisation — an area where India is investing heavily as it balances rapid electrification with renewable integration.
Why it matters for founders
Energy-tech hackathons backed by global incumbents are talent pipelines in disguise. If you're building in grid tech, energy modelling or industrial AI, Atomic Hack is a direct line to ROSATOM engineers and IIT Bombay faculty — plus a Moscow research trip for winners. Registration closes October 20.
