Packaging manufacturer Antala Industries opened its ₹23.33 crore SME IPO on 29 October 2026, priced at ₹63–67 per share, with bidding open until 2 November 2026. The issue is entirely a fresh issue of shares, and it joins a busy IPO week on Dalal Street in startup funding in India’s public-markets lane.

The company and the issue

Founded in 2024 and based in Rajkot, Gujarat, Antala makes industrial packaging products from an integrated manufacturing facility. Its total income jumped 49% in FY26 to ₹48 crore, while profit after tax more than doubled — up 133% — to ₹4 crore. The lot size is 2,000 shares, and at the top price two lots (4,000 shares) cost about ₹2.68 lakh. Allotment is expected on 3 November, with listing on BSE SME on 5 November.

Where the money goes

The proceeds will fund working capital, machinery purchases and general corporate purposes — a classic capacity-expansion use for a young manufacturer. This is a distinct issue from the Bombay Coated and Special Steels IPO that also opened on 29 October and was covered separately on this blog.

Why it matters for founders

For founders eyeing the SME board, Antala is the template in miniature: two years of incorporation, one integrated plant, fast profit growth — and a small, clean fresh issue to fund working capital and machines. The SME route rewards operating proof, not storytelling.
