Jaipur-based healthtech startup Aignosis has raised ₹4 crore in a seed funding round led by Antler, Nikhil Kamath and a group of angel investors including Varun Dua and IIMA Ventures, to scale its AI-powered early childhood screening platform.

The founders

Aignosis was founded by Raksheet Jain and Divyansh Mangal. The startup had earlier raised its first round of funding in 2024 from investors such as Rajneesh Bhandari and Amit Jain, and has since completed the CDSCO regulatory process, obtaining Class B certification. It was also selected as part of the Google for Startups Accelerator: AI First 2025 cohort.

What the platform does

Aignosis has developed an AI-assisted screening solution designed for children between 16 months and nine years of age. Using a standard laptop and webcam, the platform records a short video session consisting of nine stimulus-based modules, then applies computer vision to evaluate behavioural indicators including gaze patterns, response to name and reactions to facial expressions. The analysis generates a risk assessment report flagging whether a child may require further clinical evaluation — the company is clear the tool is for screening, not a medical diagnosis.

Where the money goes

The newly raised capital will be used to strengthen the company's AI-powered autism and developmental screening platform and expand its reach across India, where early developmental screening remains underserved.

Why it matters for founders

Regulated healthtech is a harder fundraise than consumer tech — Aignosis turned a completed CDSCO certification and a Google for Startups cohort slot into seed-round conviction. If you are building in health, treat regulatory milestones and credible accelerator brands as fundraise assets, and be precise about what your AI product does and does not claim: screening vs diagnosis.
