Startup funding in India continues to favour teams building AI tooling for real business workflows: AdGraam, an AI-powered creative intelligence platform for performance marketing, has raised ₹3 crore in a seed funding round led by Umair Mohammad, co-founder of Nitro Commerce, ET Entrepreneur reported on October 15, 2026.
Founded by Ashish Verma, Saad Mohammad, Sahil Bhatnagar and Saksham, AdGraam combines creative research, ideation, advertisement generation and performance analysis in a single platform. The founders spent around 12 years running performance marketing campaigns for consumer brands before productising the tool they had built for themselves.
Why brands are buying creative AI
The team's core insight: as ad platforms automated media buying and audience selection, the creative itself became the main performance lever. Brands spending over ₹1 crore a month on ads can now need 20–25 videos a week, up from three to four static creatives and one or two videos previously tested. The platform's Flow Builder lets users hand-pick models for detailed prompting, while its video agent selects a suitable model automatically; both run on a pay-as-you-go credit model. The company says an AI-generated footwear campaign with an Indian model and local-language context delivered a reported 3.7x return on ad spend. AdGraam positions itself as an India-built alternative to international creative AI platforms such as Higgsfield, with an emphasis on local faces, natural Hindi and English, and pricing suited to Indian marketers.
What the money buys
AdGraam currently works with more than 40 brands across footwear, fashion, hair care, wellness, oral care and beauty and personal care. The fresh capital will fund team expansion, stronger sales and marketing, international expansion and further platform development for global markets, with the founders eventually aiming to develop their own model.
Why it matters for founders
AdGraam turned an internal tool built for agency clients into a funded startup — a classic playbook that works when the internal tool already has paying usage. For marketers, AI creative is moving from novelty to a measured performance layer; for founders, it is proof that “we built it for ourselves first” is still a compelling seed narrative.
