Mumbai-based nutrition company Ace Blend has raised $9.91 million (about ₹95 crore) in a Series A2 round led by 3one4 Capital, with existing investor Fireside Ventures doubling down, the company announced on 29 October 2026. It is one of the larger consumer-health rounds in startup funding in India this week — and one explicitly sold on scientific proof, not just growth.

Science first, then scale

Founded in 2018 by Shivam Hingorani, with Saif Mehkri joining as co-founder in 2022, Ace Blend sells around 14 products across heart health, brain health, sleep, recovery, gut health, strength and immunity, including plant-based protein powders and functional supplements. The company says it grew 300% in FY26, has a repeat purchase rate of nearly 48%, and is targeting ₹250–300 crore in annual recurring revenue over the next 12–18 months. Its products are recommended by a network of more than 400 doctors, and global suppliers DSM and TCI have granted it exclusive rights in India to certain technologies.

What the money will prove

Founder and CEO Shivam Hingorani set out three priorities: clinical trials run by credible contract research organisations and intended for peer-reviewed international journals; cementing the supply chain as the company’s moat; and automated batch-by-batch testing for nutritional accuracy, pesticides and heavy metals, with no human intervention. Fireside Ventures, which led the earlier $3.3 million pre-Series A, said the team’s clinical credibility and consumer trust earned the follow-on.

Why it matters for founders

For consumer founders, Ace Blend’s pitch is a shift worth copying: in a trust-starved category, published evidence is the marketing. Trials and batch testing cost money up front — but they are what let a brand charge, retain and survive scrutiny.
