360 ONE Asset is the asset-management arm of 360 ONE WAM (Wealth and Asset Management), alongside sibling business 360 ONE Wealth. It describes itself as “one of India's leading asset management firms,” and its pitch is simple: India's growth story rewards managers with deep on-the-ground domain knowledge and a proprietary framework for building portfolios across public and private markets.

Overview & thesis

The firm's thesis centres on “creating the right risk-adjusted alpha” for clients. Founder, MD & CEO of 360 ONE WAM, Karan Bhagat, has called alternates “a clear strategic pillar for 360 ONE,” noting that “private markets across private equity, private credit, real assets and renewable energy are increasingly becoming core allocations in client portfolios.” Anshuman Maheshwary, CEO – Alternates at 360 ONE Asset, adds that alternatives are “reshaping portfolio construction,” with a platform built across private markets. Its private-credit business targets “the under-served mid-market segment and special situations financing for large issuers,” while its real-assets arm argues that “infrastructure and commercial real estate are among the biggest beneficiaries of the India growth story.”

Sectors & stages

The private-equity platform “spans across stages from early & mid-stage to late-stage & pre-IPO as well as secondaries and thematic investing.” Listed equity runs on a proprietary portfolio-construction framework aimed at long-term, risk-adjusted alpha. The latest thematic frontier is defence and space — a dedicated multi-stage strategy covering defence electronics, space analytics, electronic warfare and satellite-based ISR.

Fund size

Asset-management ARR AUM stood at ~₹1 lakh crore, up 8.2% YoY, as of June 2026 (Q1FY27), with total 360 ONE WAM AUM of ₹7.77 lakh crore. March 2026 figures were ₹95,206 crore ARR AUM (up 12.8% YoY) and ₹6.74 lakh crore total. Private credit held ₹15,200 crore (March 2026) and the private equity & venture platform exceeded ₹30,000 crore.

Notable portfolio

The firm has a habit of industry-firsts: the 2015 360 ONE Seed Ventures Fund 1 (“India's first private fund of funds”); the 2017 360 ONE Special Opportunities Fund (“India's first pre-IPO fund”); the 2022 ELSS Nifty 50 Tax Saver Index Fund (“India's first passive ELSS fund”); the 2023 Special Opportunities Fund – Series 11 (“India's first multi-asset fund”); and the 2024 Series 12 and 13 (“India's first secondaries fund”). Its defence-and-space strategy raised ₹1,000 crore (January 2026 launch) for 15–20 companies over an 8.5-year life, split roughly 20% venture / 30% growth / 50% late-stage & pre-IPO. Its latest private-credit raise was ₹3,500 crore ($400 million) in March 2026.

Programs & resources

Beyond funds, the platform runs mutual funds (equity and fixed income) and PMS offerings, plus thematic strategies that effectively function as sector programs — the defence-and-space fund being the newest, with four investments already deployed at launch. Registered office: 360 ONE Center, Kamla City, Senapati Bapat Marg, Lower Parel (West), Mumbai, MH 400013.

Why it matters for founders

360 ONE Asset is where India's domestic institutional capital is going: ~₹1 lakh crore managed, a secondaries franchise, and a brand-new ₹1,000 crore defence-and-space strategy hunting 15–20 companies across venture, growth and pre-IPO stages. If you're building in defence electronics, space tech or dual-use hardware, this fund was quite literally created for you — and its pre-IPO track record makes it a serious late-stage conversation too.
